Bessie Safford Clark, 77, resident of Selma, passed away January 18, 2014 in Montgomery. Services are scheduled for Saturday, January 25, 2014, 12:00 noon at New Bride Baptist Church officiated by Elder F. D. Jackson. Burial will be directed by Randall Miller Funeral Service, Selma.

A wake will be held Friday, 7 p.m.-8:30 p.m. at Miller’s Chapel.

Survivors include six sons, Robert Clark, Isiah Clark III, Sandy Clark, Nathaniel Clark, Randy Clark, and James Clark; four daughters, Lillie Johnson, Molly Reid, Rosie Reed, and Stephanie Clark; five brothers, George Safford, Houston (Pete) Safford, Jerome Safford, James Sullivan, and Willie Jones; six sisters, Mary Crumpton, Ethel Wilson, Eather Moore, Geraldine Safford, Lula Belle Reese, and Annie P. Lett; thirteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews.
