The Dixie Flips Gymnastics team competed in Tuscaloosa Oct. 11 – 12 at the annual Fliptanic Invitational.

In the level 2s, Cameron Duncan placed 3rd on vault with a 9.050; 8th on bars; 8th on beam; 8th on floor and 8th all around. Anna Grace Small placed 7th on vault; 10th on bars; 8th on beam; 9th on floor and 10th all around. Jaden McGee placed 2nd on vault with a 9.0; 8th on bars; 5th on beam; 4th on floor and 5th all around.  Kennan Lee McHugh placed 9th on vault and bars; 7th on beam; 8th on floor and 9th all around.  Brooke Egbert placed 9th on vault, bars and floor; 7th on beam and 9th all-around. Anne Hayes Utsey placed 7th on floor; 8th on bars and beam; 9th on floor and 8th all around. Taylor Roberts placed 10th on vault and bars; 9th on beam; 6th on floor and 10th all around. All of these girls have now qualified to compete in the state meet by having an all around score of 30 points or above.

Sarah Lloyd Free competed in level 5 and placed 7th on vault; 4th on bars; 1st on beam with an 8.825; 6th on floor and 5th all around.

In the level 4 division, Kaileigh Harrison placed 9th on vault; 3rd on bars with an 8.475; 9th on beam; 10th on floor and 9th all around.  Bailey Brown placed 10th on vault and beam; and 11th on bars, floor and all around.

The last to compete were the level 3s. Evey Craig placed 11th on all events and 11th all around.  Haley Smitherman placed 11th on vault and floor; 12th on bars and beam and 12th all around. For information on Dixie Flips Gymnastics please contact Tracey Craig at 334-431-0041.
