Mr. Vernie Bolden, 82, resident of Selma, passed away September 11, 2013 at Warren Manor. Services will be held September 21, 2013, 2:00 p.m. at Mount Olive #1 officiated by Pastor A.L. Brown. Burial will follow in church cemetery directed by Miller Funeral Service of Selma.

He is preceded in death by parents, George and Texanna Bolden; daughter, Betty Laws; brothers, Eugene Bolden, Jessie Bolden, and Phillip Bolden; sisters, Inez Bolden and Claudia Reynolds.

Survivors include spouse Mrs. Beulah Bolden; two sons, Lennon Bolden and Willie James King; daughters, Annie L. Bolden, Claretha Bolden, and Corretta Bolden; brother, George Bolden; sister, Lucille Dillard; three grandchildren, one great grandchild, one brother-in-law, two sisters-in-laws, a host of nieces nephews, family, and friends.

Pallbearers will be Lennon Bolden, Micheal Dillard, Kevin Bolden, Wayne Bolden, Geoffrey Bolden, and Russell Alexander.
