Mrs. Fannie M. Cockrell, 79, resident of Selma, passed away August 21, 2013 at Vaughan Regional Hospital. Services are scheduled for Saturday, august 31, 2013, 12:00 noon at Campbell Chapel AME Church, Minter, AL officiated by Rev. Valtoria Jackson. Burial will follow in church cemetery directed by Miller Funeral Service of Selma.

Survivors include four sons, Robert (Daisy) Moultrie, Slough Cockrell Jr., Eddie Cockrell, and James (Anita) Cockrell;four daughters, Ollie (Anothony) Rueben, Annie (James) Garrett, Lucy (Norman) Suttles, Mary Cockrell; God-daughters, Dottie Lee and Cathy Richardson; two brothers, Richard (Maple) Moultrie, John (Shirley) Moultrie; sisters-in-law, Ora Moultrie; aunts, Hattie Crane and Emma Paravinski; two sisters, Katie Moultrie and Dorothy (Bob) Galbreath; seventeen grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews; special nieces, Ollie Davis, Thomasina Jones; special grandson, Anthony Caver.
