Mr. Willie Blakes, 91, resident of Selma, passed away July 31, 2013 at Vaughan Regional Hospital. Services are scheduled for August 10, 2013, 1:00 p.m. at Good Hope Baptist Church officiated by Pastor Lester . Burial will follow in church cemetery directed by Miller Funeral Service of Selma.

Survivors include spouse Joanna Blakes; four sons, Willie Blakes Jr., Mathew Blakes, Bobby (Evonne) Blakes, and Eddie Blakes; four daughters, Roxie (Robert) Simpson, Rosie Henderson, Georgia Oliver, and Christine (Gary) Griffin; thirty grandchildren, fifty two great grandchildren, twenty eight great-great grandchildren, two sons-in-laws, one daughter-in-law, and a host of nieces, relatives, and friends.
