Authories seek information after suspects shot, rob USPS truck driver

The U.S. Postal Inspection Service is offering a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect or suspects who shot and robbed a postal truck diver at the Hayneville Post Office Thursday, Aug. 1 between the hours of 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.
The driver is listed in stable condition at an unnamed hospital.
Thursday, the Inspection Service released a photograph of a vehicle of interest in the shooting and robbery.
The vehicle is described as an early to mid-2000 model Gold Ford Explorer. It was seen in the vicinity of the Hayneville Post Office when the shooting occurred, according to Central Alabama Crime Stoppers.
Along with a $50,000 reward offered by the Inspection Service for any information regarding to incident, Central Alabama Crime Stoppers is also offering a $1,000 reward for any information.
