Dorothea Peacock, age 88, of Birmingham, Alabama, passed away on August 6, 2013. Mrs. Peacock retired from Wallace Community College in Selma, where she was a accountant and was a member of Riverchase UMC, where she played piano for her Sunday School Class. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Lamar Peacock Sr; brother, James Daniel Cullifer Jr. She is survived by her son, Lamar (Donna) Peacock Jr; grandson, Matthew Peacock; nephew, Brinsley Cullifer, host of other family members and friends. Memorial Services will be held on August 7, 2013 at 3:00pm at New Live oak Cemetery in Selma, AL. Visitation will be on Wednesday 12:00-1:00 at Southern Heritage Funeral Home.
