Ms. Elvira Cooper, 72, resident of Selma, passed July 8, 2013 in Selma. Services will be held July 13, 2013, 2:00 p.m. at Tipton School Gym officiated by Rev. David Perry. Burial will follow in Sandridge Cemetery directed Miller Funeral Service of Selma.

Survivors include two sons, George Cooper Jr., Julius Cooper; special sons, Edward Dale, Michael Rowe, Alfred Haywood; stepson, June Cooper; four daughters, Cora (Jackie) Cooper, Bobbie Jean Cooper, JoAnne Cooper-Rowe, and Mary Delois Shaw; brother, James Stromer; four sisters, Dorothy Irby, Bertha Wiggins (Joe), Ora Lee, and Linsley Marshell; seventeen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, three sons-in-laws, one daughter-in-law, four brothers-in-laws, two sisters-in-laws, a host of nieces and nephews. Other relatives include aunts, Christine Irby, Willie Richerson, and Estell Richerson. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
