Mr. Lee E. Towns, 84, resident of Selma, passed away May 8, 2013 at UAB Hospital.

Services will be held May 13, 2013, 11 a.m. at Mt. Olive No. 1, officiated by Pastor A.L. Brown. Burial will follow in church cemetery directed by Miller Funeral Service of Selma.

He is preceded in death by spouse Corine Towns; daughter, Leila Lee; brother, Andrew Towns; sisters, Lucindy Perkins and Bertha Mae Thomas.

Survivors include three sons, Levoyus Towns, Chicago, IL., James Towns Sr. (Corene) Birmingham, AL, Mack Arthur Towns (Glenda), Selma, AL; daughter, Earnestine Towns, Selma, AL; brother-in-law, Sam Crum; sister-in-law, Zettie Jones; eighteen grandchildren, thirty eight great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, two daughters-in-laws.
