Funeral services for Joseph Marcus “Joe” McCormick, age 67 of Cookeville, TN and formerly of Maplesville, Ala. were conducted on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 11:00AM at New Benginning Fellowship Church with Pastor Randy Hill officiating. Burial follow at the West Cemetery in Cookeville. Visitation was held on Friday, April 26 from 5-9PM at Whitson Funeral Home.

Mr. McCormick passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. Joseph Marcus “Joe” McCormick was born on March 30, 1946 in Maplesville, Ala. to the late Crawford and Evelyn Louise(Beardon)McCormick. Joe was a machinist for the Flow Serve Company. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his aunt and uncle:Ellie Smith and Raleigh McCormick.

He is survived by his two sons and Daughters-In-Law: Jason & Rachel McCormick of Cookeville, TN and Mark and Tammy McComick of Murfreesboro, TN. A Sister: Linda Smitherman of Lawley, Ala.; and 3 Grandchildren: Ella and Emmie McCormick and Mason Baker.
