Lee was born on February 22, 1927 and passed away on March 11, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd L. and Leila W. Flowers; siblings Luther (Durene) Flowers, Mobile, AL, Jeff (Frnaces) Flowers, Garner, NC, Myrtle F. Booher, Sacramento, California, Emmett Flowers, Atlanta, GA and Robert (Rachel) Flowers, Bay Minette, AL.

Lee is survived by her husband, Donald Young Sr., New Haven, WV; her children, Donald (Randi) Young Jr., Redondo Beach, CA, Linda (Terry) Elliott, Bluffton, SC, Ronald (Jeri) Young, Cleveland, OH, Susan (William) Chapman, Charlestown, WV and Thomas (Stella) Young, Scott Depot, WV. She leaves 11 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister, Anne F. Smith, Selma, AL and brother David Flowers, San Diego, CA.

She graduated from Albert G. Parrish High School in 1945. Lee was a member of Faith Baptist Church, Maston, WV, Meigs Council on Aging and Nutrition, American Legion Auxiliary, Nurse for West Virginia Sam Club.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
