Attorney Jack P. Friday Jr., died March 28, 2013. He was born in Selma, Alabama on June 15, 1947. Mr. Friday was predeceased by his parents, Jack Pitts Friday Sr. and Hilda Norman Pitts. He graduated from A.G. Parrish High School in Selma, received his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama, and his law degree from George Washington University Law School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

Graveside services are scheduled for Saturday, March 30, 2012, 11:00 a.m. at New Live Oak Cemetery officiated by Rev. Daniel Martin. Services will be  directed by Miller Funeral Service of Selma
