Mattie Lee Bonner, of Selma, passed away on February 22, 2013 at the age of 91 at home with her family by her side. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 2, 2013, 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Olive #1 Baptist Church in Sardis, AL with Rev. A.L. brown and Minister Edward Bonner officiating.

She was the daughter of the late King and Laura Glover and a member of the Mt. Olive #1 Baptist Church. She was the wife for 51 years to the late Jackson Bonner. Through this union nine children were born and two preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memories one sister, Pinkie Wilson of Cincinnati, OH, sister, Mary Shine; five brothers who preceded her in death; threes sons, Alton (Annie) Bonner, Minister Edward (Debra) Bonner, William Bonner (Brenda) all of Selma; four daughters, Etta Turner (Sherman), Alice Coleman (Tommie), Mattie P. Bonner (Alphonso) and Glenda Bonner all of Selma; twenty one grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements directed by Miller Funeral Service of Selma. The body will lie in state from 12:00 to 1:00 at the church. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olive #1 Cemetery.
