Mrs. Emma Gooden, 87, resident of Marion, Alabama, passed away November 21, 2012 at Hale County Hospital. Services will be held Saturday, December 1, 2012, 12:00 noon at Hopewell Baptist Church, Marion, AL, officiated by Rev. C.A. Billingsley. Burial will follow in church cemetery directed by Miller Funeral Service of Selma.

Survivors include two sons, John Albert Gooden and Andrew Earl Gooden; three daughters, Ida Mae Gooden-Washington, Beatrice Gooden, and Shirley Gooden Smith; numerous other relatives and friends.
