Graveside services for Hoy Pierce Hayes, 77, of Lowndesboro and formerly of Marion, will be Monday, November 5, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Pine Crest Memorial Gardens in Marion with Rev. James Waters Jr. officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Marion Chapel directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday morning from 10-10:45 a.m.

Hayes was born on Aug. 19, 1935 in Tennessee to the late Otis Pierce and Sara Jewel Hayes.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Maxine Hayes and brother, Harold Hayes.

He is survived by his wife, Jean Hayes of Mobile; daughter Karen Wilkinson of Lowndesboro; adopted daughter Lesia Hightower; son Bob Huett of Mobile; sister Carolyn Shell of Tennessee; brother Douglas Hayes of Selma; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
