Mr. David Calhoun, 61, resident of Selma, passed away August 5, 2012 at Tuskegee VA. Services are scheduled for Saturday, August 18, 2012, 12:00 noon at Second Missionary Baptist Church officiated by Pastor Darryl Moore. Burial will follow in AL National Cemetery directed by Miller Funeral Service of Selma.

 

He was preceded in death by parents.

 

Survivors include sons, David Calhoun, Jr.; daughter, Ayana Jointer; three brothers, William Calhoun, Willie Calhoun, Melvin (Doris) Calhoun, Sr.; three sisters, Myrtlene Hall, Fannie Mae Turner, and Mary Virginia Rucker; one grandchild, one son-in-law, one sister-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A special friend/cousin, Charles Calhoun of Atlanta, GA. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
