Police, deputies respond to Summerfield shooting incident

VALLEY GRANDE — A gun-related incident on Dallas County Road 37, north of the Summerfield community, attracted the attention of both the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department and the Selma Police Department.
Details of the incident remain sketchy at this time, but shortly after 8 p.m. Friday, a Dallas County Sheriff’s deputy issued a “Double Zero” calling for “all possible assistance” to a Valley Grande residence.
Shortly after the initial call, authorities also called for an ambulance.
Law enforcement officials confirmed that two suspects have been taken into custody for their possible involvement in the incident, and that a third suspect remains wanted.
Those same officials also said no one was injured in the shooting incident.
Further details on the exact nature of the incident were not available at deadline, nor were the identity or potential charges of the two suspects in custody.
