Virgil Norris Colburn, 72, resident of Selma, passed away on June 16, 2012 at Warren Manor Nursing Home, Selma, AL.

Graveside services were held Monday, June 18, 2012, 3:00 p.m. at Pisgah Baptist Cemetery, Sprott, AL., officiated by Rev. Curtis Smith. Visitation was held from 1 -2:30 at Kirk Funeral Homes Marion.

Survivors include wife, Faye Lockhart Colburn, Selma; one daughter, Sonia Lynn Colburn; sons, James Allen Lockhart and David Brian Lockhart (Jennifer) Alphrette, GA.; two brothers, Frank Colburn (Doris), Marion and Jimmy Colburn (Brenda), Marion; six grandchildren, Josh Lockhart, Lauren Lockhart, Matthew Lockhart, David Lockhart, Isaac Lockhart, and Sara Lockhart; one great-great grandchild, Micheala Lockhart. Kirk Funeral Homes Marion Chapel directing. Active pallbearers will be Jeromy Colburn, Jason Colburn, Kevin Colburn, Marshall Colburn, ChriaBrewer,and Kirk Smith.
