Emil Fredrick Miehlke, Sr., age 77, of Selma, died Thursday, June 14, 2012. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Barbara Miehlke; brother, Paul Miehlke and sister, Alona Martinek. Survivors include his wife, Carol Miehlke; children, Sybil Brady (David), Cindy Noakes (David) and Emil F. Miehlke, Jr. (Beth); grandchildren, Brad Brady (Christina), Barbara Brady, Michael Noakes, Madison Noakes, Matthew Miehlke and Stephen Miehlke; great-grandchildren, Dylan Olive, Skylar Burkett, Ashley Brady, Alyssa Brady and Kristian Evans; brother, Eugene Miehlke; sisters, Kathy Allgood and Darlene Budziak.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 18, 2012, at Memorial United Methodist Church with Reverend Steve Kopp officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing and burial following in Pineview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. at the church Monday.

Air Force Honor Guard will serve as Pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Memorial United Methodist Church or a charity of one’s choice.
