A Selma man remains in custody after agents with the Alabama Bureau of Investigation arrested him and charged him with hindering prosecution in the manhunt and capture of wanted murder suspect Deandra Marquis Lee.

Anthony Wallace, 24, was arrested Saturday for reportedly introducing Lee to the woman he was found with when Lee was captured by ABI agents.

According to Dallas County District Attorney Michael Jackson, Wallace introduced Lee to the unidentified woman, who then allowed Lee to stay in her apartment at Merrimac Apartments.

Lee, who is charged with three counts of murder for the killing of 9-year-old twins, Jordan and Taylor Dejerinett and their 73-year-old caretaker, Jack Mac Girdner last week in Lowndes County, is scheduled to appear in a Lowndes courtroom Monday afternoon.

Jackson said it remains unclear if the unidentified woman knew Lee was a wanted felon at the time she took him in and authorities have not determined if she will face charges.

As for Wallace, he remains in custody in the Dallas County Jail under a $40,000 bond. If convicted, Wallace could face up to 10 years in prison.
