Ovetta Rogers Flood, of Columbus, Ohio, a former Selmanian and 1958 graduate of the former R.B. Hudson High School, passed away at her home on April 16, 2012.

Preceded in death by her mother Willie Mae Mixon, and siblings, Clifford Rogers, Dewitt Rogers, Luvert Rogers, Rufus Jones, Ola Lois Pettway, Vivian Rogers and Edna Rogers. She was a graduate of Central State University and retired after 34 years as a teacher in the Columbus Schools. She is survived by her son Taunn (Kimberly) Flood; grandchildren, Bre-Aunna, Pheniox, Miri, and Greyson; siblings, Eugene Rogers, Clarence Rogers and Althestien (Charles Sr.) Johnson of Selma.
