In high school I played varsity baseball, basketball, and football for Coach Comer Sims. Our basketball team won 88 straight games and 2 state tournaments. A record that has yet to be broken. In 3 years of football we only lost 4 football games. I was fortunate to be placed on the ALL State Football team in my senior year, 1947, and made honorable mention in basketball.
