U.S. Sen. Richard Shelby focused on the national debt, healthcare and tax reform during his Dallas County visit last March. As his annual statewide tour comes to Selma once again on Monday, Feb. 20, there is little doubt many of those topics will be brought up once again.
Shelby’s office, along with the Selma-Dallas County Chamber of Commerce, announced Shelby would hold his annual Dallas County meeting at the St. James Hotel during a mid-day lunch event.
“Over the years, these meetings have provided an excellent opportunity for area residents to listen and voice their opinions on the activities of our government,” Shelby said in a release announcing the visit. “This will be a great chance to discuss the important issues facing our state and our nation.”
