Thomas said she’s in full support of the party in the 2012 primary and general elections.

“When the general election comes in November, I will have a preference,” Thomas said. “I encourage citizens to be aware of any gate changes as far as voting is concerned. We’re anticipating and really begging individuals to go out and vote on March 13 for the candidate of their choice.”

Voting will take place March 13 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at designated polling places throughout the county. According to information obtained from the Dallas County Board of Registrars, absentee ballots for the primary election must be turned in five to 10 days prior to the election. An application to vote absentee can be obtained from the circuit clerk or person designated absentee election manager.
