Sarah Rutledge Wright, 70, resident of Sprott, AL., passed away  January 1, 2012 in Sprott.

Services will be held January 7, 2012 , 11 a.m. at Old Oak Grove Church, Sprott, AL. officiated by Rev. Jesse Brown. Burial will follow in church cemetery directed by Miller Funeral Service of Selma.
She was preceded in death by her parents Percy and Zeolar Rutledge.
She is survived by three sons, Glen Rutledge Sr., Thomas Wright and Eric Wright;  three daughters. Juanita Addison, Nakia Lakes and Lashonda Williams; four brothers, Spurgeon Rutledge, Malachi Rutledge, Columbus Rutledge and Scott Rutledge; three sisters, Florence Rutledge, Arquilla Heard, and Elizabeth Williams; twenty-six grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, one son-in-law, three daughters-in-law, one brother-in-law, seven sisters-in-law, a host of nieces and nephews ; devoted nieces Sharika Rutledge, Erica Heard, and Lula Clemons.
