John H. Anderson Jr. of Sautee, GA passed away peacefully at his home on December  27, 2011.  He was 81.

Mr. Anderson was a U. S. Navy and Korean War veteran and retired from Delta Airlines after 34 years of service as an international pilot.  He was a 54 year member of the Grand Lodge of A.F. & A.M. of the State of Illinois Auburn Park Lodge No. 789 and a lifetime member of the Yaarab Shrine Temple of Atlanta, GA .

Born in Chicago, IL and a beloved father of two, Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by his parents John and Agnes Anderson of Toccoa, GA and his wife of 40 years, Bonnie Schroeder Anderson.

Survivors include: his daughter Adriane Anderson Seymour (husband Allen) of Hoschton, GA, and his son John Wesley Anderson, III (wife Britte) of Gainesville, GA; five grandchildren (Kameron & Dalton Anderson, Drew and Kate Seymour, Cameron Bridwell); sister-in-law Diane Schroeder Ledbetter of Walhalla, S.C.; Brother-in-law Kenneth Schroeder  of Selma, AL; nephews Jimmy Ledbetter (wife Kari) of West Union, S.C. and Josh Ledbetter (wife Latoya)of Cookville, TN;  Kenneth M. Schroeder (wife Cheryl) of Selma, AL, Neal Schroeder (wife Tori) of Molton, AL; and nine grandnieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 30 at 11:00 a.m. at Yonah View Memorial Gardens, Helen Highway, Cleveland, GA 30528.
