Irwin, James Robert “Bobby”, 65 of Montevallo, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2011 at his residence.  James was preceded in death by parents, Charlie and Audell Irwin; and brother, Captain Ernest Irwin.  He is survived by his wife, Doris Irwin; sons, James Robert “Jimmy” Irwin, Jr. (Carla), John Russell Irwin; sister, Beverly Chaulk; brothers, Charlie Bell Irwin, Jr., Prattville, Edward Patrick Irwin, Dothan; three grandchildren, Kayla Elizabeth Irwin, James Robert Irwin III “Trace”, and Jakob Russell Irwin.  Mr. Irwin served in the U.S. Marine Corps and retired after 30 years of service at Norfolk Southern.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 14, 2011 from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel, Montevallo.  Services will follow at the chapel at 1:30 with Rev.
