Mrs. Mary E. Irby, 75, resident of Sardis, Alabama, passed away November 19, 2011 at Vaughan Regional Hospital. Services were held November 26, 2011, 2:00 p.m. at Siloam Baptist Church officiated by Pastor Dwight Woods. Burial  followed in Irby Cemetery directed by Miller Funeral Service of Selma.

Survivors include five sons, Joel Irby, Darry Irby, Marvin Irby, Fredrick Irby, and Donald Fulford; four daughters, Josephine White, Sandra Irby, Dorothy Irby, and Brenda Irby; three brothers, Eddie White, Earnest White, and Willie White; five sisters, Willie Mae Hayes, Johnnie Mae Bennett, Annie Dora Crear, Susie Marshall, and Oradell Fulford; twenty five grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, three daughters-in-laws, two brothers-in-laws, one sister-in-law, a host of nieces and nephews.
