Jessie L. Barrett, age 78, of Selma, died Wednesday November 23, 2011.Mrs. Barrett was preceded in death by her husband, Blake Barrett; son, Eddie Barrett; infant sisters, Dorothy and Earline; sisters, Bernice Smith Averette, Mary Lindsey and Carolyn Jowers and brothers, Don Pierce and Jamie Pierce. She is survived by her son, Randy C. Barrett of Selma; daughters, Annice M. Smith (Johnny) of Kentucky, Becky L. Mott (Steve) of Selma and Libby Mott (Larry) of Selma; 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was held at 3:00 p.m. Friday November 25, 2011 at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Dr. Kenny Hatcher officiating. The family will received friends at the funeral home from 2-3 p.m. Friday.
