Ruby Beverly Fletcher, age 78, passed away November 12, 2011.  She lived a loving, happy and useful life helping everyone she knew.  She loved and lived for God and confessed Jesus Christ was not only her Savior, but her friend, comforter, confidant and rock.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John A. and Marie L. Payne Beverly; brother, John E. Beverly;  sisters, Linda Beverly Lawrence and Blanche Juanita Beverly Hollis and granddaughter, Ashley Burnett.

She is survived by her son, Michael K. (Becky) Smith; daughter, Patricia G. Smith (David) MacPherson;  grandchildren, Michael A. Smith, Derrell W.(Carrie) Britcher, Chad (Ashley) Burnett, Fletcher Porter “Bubba” ( Drema) Trammel, Christina Martindale; great-grandchildren, Kayla Brianna Britcher, Dakota James Britcher, Madison Martindale, Austin Tyler Prince, Jonathan Colby Britcher, Shelby Triston Britcher, Mary Paige Trammel, Jonathan Tyler Trammel, Bailey Trammel, Megan Burnett and Chassidy Burnett; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, brothers-in-law, Derrell Lawrence and Fred Hollis; special friends, Betty Dunkin, Christy (Tim) Smith, Becky (Ed) Dennis, Thelma Whitehead, Charlene Garrett, Scott (Brenda) Smith, Leota (Lee) Kline, Ayah Cross, George Tarver, Jr. Austin Smith, Mary Cross, Mrs. Alean Givner, Mrs. Lucille Howard, Reo Miller, Margaret Williams, Olan Norwood, George Tarver, Willie Boyd, Kevon Morgan, Callie Lowery, James White, Shellie McCants and one very special friend who was always there for her, Pastor Marvin P. Lark.

A memorial service was  held Monday, November 14, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Marvin Lark officiating.  Visitation was held  prior to the service at 2:00 p.m.
