Mrs. Willie Mae McCurdy, 90, resident of Selma, passed away October 4, 2011 in Selma. Services are scheduled for Saturday, October 8, 2011, 12:00 p.m. at Mt. Ararat Missionary B C officiated by Rev. L.L. Ruffin. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Cemetery directed by Miller Funeral Service of Selma.

Survivors include three sons, Calvin Williams (Greensboro, NC), Amos Snell (Vallejo, CA), Earl Snell Sr. (Selma); five daughters, Mattie Jones (Birmingham, AL), Mary Nell Smyth (Los Angeles, CA), Lester Summers (Selma), Illene Taggart (Selma), Umi Jean Minor (Birmingham, AL); one sister, Johnnie L. Johnson, Selma;brother, Robert Clay, New York, NY; forty grandchildren, fifty great grandchildren, two sons-in-laws, three daughters-in-laws, a host of nieces and nephews; sons-in-laws, Alex Summers, Eddie Minor, Jr.; daughters-in-laws, Dorothy McCurdy, Natalie Williams, Rose Snell, and Denise Thomas.
