Mr. Louis Adkins, 74, resident of Jones, AL., passed away September 30, 2011 at Prattville Baptist ER. Services are scheduled for Saturday, October 8, 2011, 1:00 p.m. at Shiloh Baptist church officiated by Rev. Melvin Parker. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery directed by Miller Funeral Service of Selma.

Survivors include spouse, Mary Adkins; sons, Timothy Adkins, Nathon Adkins, Trenal (Bobbie) Adkins, Marquis (Nannette) Forge, Michael Cook, Antwan, Terrell, Rashard, and Louis Adkins III; daughters, Veronica Willis, Verbertha (Donald) Tillis, Rosaleen (Will) Jackson, Velesshia Adkins, Dinah Francine (Willie Earl) Lewis, and Shalonda (Marlon) Bush; two sisters, Cora Weaver and Lonnie Page; seventy five grandchildren, forty great grandchildren, and host of nieces and nephews.
