Mark Callines, 42, resident of Dallas Co., passed away September 28, 2011 at UAB Hospital. Services are scheduled for October 8, 2011, 1:00 p.m. at New Shady Grove M.P. Church, Sardis, AL. officiated by Pastor Wayne Callines. Burial will follow in Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, Jones, AL., directed by Miller Funeral Service of Selma.

He was preceded in death by parents, Franklin D.R. and Dorothy M. Callines.

Survivors include son, Marquel Woods of Selma; daughter, Shuntera Posey of Selma; brothers, John (Rosetta) Callines, Sr. of Forest Park, GA., Joseph (Elizabeth) Callines of Selma, AL., and Kelvin (Maurice) Callines of Portsmouth, VA; sisters, Amanda Callines of Selma, AL.; Tyra (Wayne) Callines-Jones of Morrow, GA., and Monica (John) Callines of Montgomery, AL; eight nieces, six nephews, one aunt, and one uncle.
