James Michael “Turtle” Cottle, age 64.of Tyler, AL, passed away September 19, 2011.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Winnie Mae Cottle.

He is survived by his wife of forty-four years, Linda Cottle; son, James M. “Mike” (Ann) Cottle; brother, Greg (Jackie) Cottle; sister Debra (Paul) Dent and two grandchildren, LeeAnn and Jamie.

Graveside services will be Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in Pineview Memory Gardens with Rev. Larry Noles officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing.  Visitation will be Friday, September 23, 2011 from 6-8:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be members of the Alabama National Guard.  They will present him with full military honors.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Martin Middle School, Attn: Mike Blair, 2863 County Road 81, Valley Grande, AL  36701.
