Elizabeth “Betty” Anne Hudgens Nichols passed away September 17, 2011.
She is survived by her, son’s, Cecil H Nichols Jr. (Kathy) and William Ray Nichols (Charlotte), daughter, Elizabeth Anne
Manthey (Ed) grandchildren, Mary Katherine Nichols, Elizabeth Anne Bumbers, Ruth Helen Freeman, and Jonathan Nichols;
great-grandchildren, Zachary Bumbers, Bradley Bumbers, Auston Freeman, and Logan Freeman; sisters, Miriam Ingram
(Robert) and Louisa Watson (Earl).
Mrs. Nichols was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil “Nick” Nichols, parents, Samuel Hudgens Sr. and Ruth Todd
Hudgens, brother, Samuel E. Hudgens Jr.
Services will be 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 20, 2011 in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Rev.
Earl Watson and Rev. Deborah Born officiating.
The family will receive friends from 10am-12pm Tuesday, September 20, 2011 in the chapel of Lawrence Brown- Service
Funeral Home.
Mrs. Nichols was a member of Barrett Road United Methodist Church and played the organ their for many years.
