Lucille Mixon, 73, resident of Dallas County, passed away September 8, 2011 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center. Services are scheduled for  Saturday, September 17, 2011, 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Ararat BaptistChurch officiated by Pastor Kirk Ellison. Burial will follow in Pineview Memory Gardens directed by Miller Funeral Service of Selma.

She is preceded in death by parents Spirlin Moore, Sr. and Mary Johnson Moore Brown.

She is survived by husband, Henry  Mixon, SR.;  three sons, Henry J. Mixon, Jr. (Yvonne), Alex Mixon (Sharon), and Darryl Mixon (Shirley); two daughters, Linda Jones (Leroy) and Shirley Parker (Carnelius); six brothers, Spirlin Moore, Jr., Joe Moore, Willie Moore, Albert Moore, Jimmie Brown, Tommie King, and Johnny King; two sisters, Leola Perryman and Lula Copeland; eleven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, two sons-in-laws, and three daughters-in-laws.
