Ms. Mary Alice Shields, 42, resident of Selma, passed away September 12, 2011 in Selma. Services are scheduled for September 17,2011, 12:00 p.m.  at East Salem Baptist Church  officiated by Rev. W. J. Brown.  Burial will follow in Isabella Baptist Church Cemetery directed by Miller Funeral Service of Selma.

Survivors include parent, Ms. Lucille Shields; brother, Robert Shield; three sisters, Dorothy Walker, Wille Mae York, and Irene  Shields; ten nieces, four nephews, and a host of cousins, and other relatives.
