Mr. Eugene Houston, 86, resident of Selma, passed away September 4, 2011 at Vaughan Regional Hospital. Services are scheduled for Friday, September 9, 2011 1:00 p.m. at Miller Funeral Chapel officiated by Rev. Herbert Allen. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery directed by Miller Funeral Service of Selma.

He was preceded in death by mother, Ella Walker; four sons; daughter, Joann Houston; brother, Dewitt Slaughter and William Cook; sister, Louise Dunlaps.

Survivors include daughter, Bertha Johnson; brother, Nathaniel Houston; five grandchildren, two sons-in-laws, three sisters-in-law, a host of nieces and nephews.
