Emma L. Sanders, 82, a resident of Selma passed August 21, 2011. Funeral services are scheduled for 11am Saturday August 27, 2011 at Providence Baptist Church with Pastor Chester Purifoy officiating. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Memory Garden under the direction of J. H. Williams & Sons Funeral Home.

Mrs. Sanders was preceded in death by Walter Sanders, her devoted husband of 59 years and by her mother Mary K. Fowler.

She is survived by five children; Alfred N. (Juanita) Sanders, Bronx, NY, Brenda S. (Levi) McCary, Selma, Jacqueline (Eddie) Moultrie, Selma, Janice Renee Sanders, New Britton, CT, and Roosevelt Sanders of Selma; five grandchildren Dorian Nathaniel Sanders, Bronx, NY, Brian Kidd McCary, Selma, and Emilea Christina Moultrie of Selma; plus many other loving relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6 to 7:30pm.
