Wiley James Jackson, 72, resident of Selma, passed away July 27, 2011. Services are scheduled for August 6, 2011, 12:00 p.m. at Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church officiated by Pastor George Taylor. Burial will follow in Mount Gillard Baptist Church directed by Miller Funeral Service of Selma.
He is preceded in death by parents, Sammie Lee Jackson and Lula Bell Jackson; brothers, J.D. Jackson, Jessie Jackson, Johnnie Jackson, Henry Jackson, and Charlie Jackson; two sisters, Annie Stallworth and Rose Jackson.
Survivors include two daughters, Pamelia (Sylvester) McCovery and Linda Raymond Kyles; devoted niece, Jane Ella JacksonGunn; devoted nephew, J.C. Jackson; fourteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, two sons-in-laws, two daughters-in-laws.
Pallbearers will be Jacarlo Gunn, Alfreddie Carey, Leamon Fitzpatrick, Jamie Gunn, Fredrick Tucker, and Jessie Jackson.
