A pair of automobile accidents that resulted in fatalities remained under investigation as of Friday.
According to Alabama State Trooper Public Information Officer Charles J. Dysart James Earl Jackson, 47, of Selma was killed July 1 when his 1996 Chevrolet pickup left the road at about 11 p.m. on Alabama Highway 22 10 miles East of Selma.
Dysart said the accident is still under investigation.
Also under investigation, he said, is a Wilcox County accident that claimed the life of Timothy Bendolph on July 3.
Bendolph, who was 48 and a resident of Boykin, was killed when his 2009 Hyundai Sonata crashed at 1:15 p.m. on County Road 29 one mile west of Boykin.
