Lottie M. Bennett, 75, resident of Selma, passed away July 4, 2011 at UAB Hospital. Services are scheduled for Saturday, July 9, 2011, 1:30 p.m. at Mt. Zion Primitive Church officiated by Rev. Eugene Bennett. Services will be directed by Lewis Brothers Funeral  Home. She was preceded in death by parents, Eli Pressley and Georgia Pope; brother, Julius Thigpen; daughter, Felicia Brown.

Survivors include spouse Rev. Charles Bennett; two sons, Henry Lee Johnson, GA., and Eli Johnson (Bertha) Beloit, AL.; daughter, Ruthie Mae Sanders; one sister, Annie Pearl Dixon of Gary, Indiana.

Pallbearers  will be deacons of Plant Street, sons, and grandsons. Other relatives are grandson, Roderick Sanders (Latisha), friends, and others.
