Warren Craig Kelly, 84, died Tuesday, July 5, 2011 in Eufaula. He was born July 13, 1926, in Pine Hill, Alabama, to Frances and Jessie Kelly.

He served in the Navy during WWII primarily on the U.S.S. Houston. After leaving the Navy he returned to Selma, Alabama to begin his career with the Alabama Power Company. He retired January 1, 1989 after 41 years. He was a member of the Lions Club for over 50 years in Auburn, Selma and Eufaula until his health prevented his participation.

He is survive by his wife of 63 years Elizabeth Kelly; daughter, Leitha (Mike) Coates; granddaughter, Amy (Danny) Brabham; great grandchildren, Parker, Joshua, and Jordan Brabham of Eufaula; a brother, Fonville Kelly of Sturgis, S.D. and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Carl Kelly and Kenneth Kelly; sister Regena Terrell.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Alzheimers Association ALZ Association National Office, 225 N. Michigan Ave., F 1.17, Chicago, IL 60601 or your favorite charity.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 8, 2011 at Chapman Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with visitation from 10:00-11:00.  Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Eufaula.

Pallbearers will be Parker Brabham, Danny Brabham, Joshua Bradham, George Simpkins, Allen White, John Mills and Curtis Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Coach Powell’s Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church of Eufaula.
