Benjamin family deserves answers

More than 365 days have passed and still there are zero answers.
It has been more than a year since Tarasha “Pooh” Benjamin went missing, and no one has come forward with information leading to her whereabouts.
A trip to the flea market on June 26, 2010 triggered a chain of events leading to the disappearance of the 17-year-old girl. From the moment the case made headlines, many people have uttered the words “Somebody out there knows something.”
They are absolutely right. Somewhere out there, someone has information that can help law enforcement agencies develop leads and, hopefully, locate Benjamin.
In the meantime, her family continues to show a tremendous amount of resolve by remembering Benjamin and hoping for her safe return. After a year, her family and friends, who have conducted searches and done everything in their power to help, maintain a positive attitude and remember the good times.
Sunday at Bloch Park, the family continued to stand strong, holding a candlelight vigil for Benjamin to remind the public that she is still somewhere out there. Members of the Benjamin family deserve answers. For more than a year, they have been forced to wonder where Tarasha is, what lead to her disappearance and what they can do to bring her home. Hopefully, anyone with information will do the right thing and come forward.
