Ethelle “Ethel” Stanley born July 31, 1932, departed this life on Wednesday June 8, 2011 at the Vaughan Regional Medical Center. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, June 13, 2011 at 12:00 Noon at the St. Paul Community Methodist Church with the Rev. Joseph Coleman, Jr. officiating, interment will follow in the Pineview Memory Gardens.  Services entrusted to Walker Mortuary.

She leaves to cherish her memories five devoted children; three daughters Sabrina Stanley Mitchell of Selma, Alabama, Chenita Kaye Stanley of Montgomery, Alabama, Reba Charlette (John) Weir of Norcross, Georgia; two sons Ronnie Lee (Janice) Stanley of Selma, Alabama and Simuel Ceartry (Shawnita) Stanley of Camden, Alabama; four grandchildren Ronnette Nicole (Joe) Johnson, Birmingham, Alabama, Simuel Marcel Walker, Selma, Alabama, Latia Cardona, Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Whitney Simone Stanley, Selma, Alabama; five sisters; Amy Carmichael, Velvie Sigler, Betty Davis, Lula (Val) Huey, Eula Martin; two brothers Rev. Lawrence W. Hale, Jesse (Lutelia) Hale; one devoted sister-in-law Beatrice Stanley Steele, one brother-in-law Collie Lee Smiley, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her husband Jimmie Lee Stanley, parents Lula Sims Hale and Paul Alexander, son Christopher LaCorner Stanley, baby girl Belinda Stanley, and four brothers.
