John Perry, Sr., 70, of Selma, AL passed away on March 24, 2011 at his home.

Survivors include his sons, John Perry, Jr. of Selma, George W. Perry “Billy” of Selma, Donald Allen Perry of Selma, and Ted Perry of St. Petersburg, FL; two grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brothers, James Perry (Joyce) of Alabaster; sisters, Willie Ruth Ragland of Selma, Tommie Jean Culvert of Montgomery, Marjorie Bracknell (Joe) of Brent, Linda Faye Brooks of Centerville, and Patricia Lynn of Centerville; and sister-in-law, Robbie Perry of Tuscaloosa.

Mr. Perry was preceded in death by his first wife, Fannie R. Perry and his second wife, Cookie Chandler Perry and a brother, J.W. Perry. The family will like to give special thanks to Cahaba Hospice, Care Ambulance, Tommy and Jackie Stokes, and James and Joyce Perry.

Memorial Services will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, March 27, 2011 at the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Rev. David Nichols officiating.
