Hochsteler, who was driving a 2007 Infiniti G35, was attempting to pass Tubbs, who was driving a 2003 GMC Sierra.

Troopers have said Hochsteler was in a legal passing zone as he drove his Infiniti into the westbound lane. This is where he collided with Page’s Toyota, which was still traveling without his lights on.

Page, who was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the collision, was pronounced dead at the scene.

No information was released on any injuries that Hochsteler or Tubbs may or may not have received in the accident.
