Mrs.  Gurther Dean Jackson Woods, a resident of Cleveland, Ohio and a former Selmian passed away on Friday, March 11, 2011. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, March 19, 2011 at Bethany Baptist Church, Cleveland, Ohio at 1:00 p.m.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy J. Brown and husband Johnny R. Brown, Selma, Mrs. Gladys J. Scott, Cleveland, Ohio; a devoted niece and nephew, Mr. and Mrs.    Nicholas   Hunter, Cleveland, Ohio; three nieces, Mrs. Aleese Cogburn, Mrs. Eddie Groves, and Mrs. Kim Holliday all of Cleveland, Ohio, Mrs. Janet Palmer, Buffalo, NY, and Mrs. Pamela B. Comrie, Atlanta, GA.; three nephews, Derrick Williams of New York City, NY., Johnny C. Brown, II (Charlotte) of Selma, and Damon Scott of Oakland, California, several  great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Jackson, Sr.; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Will Wages     and Mr. and Mrs. Sid Jackson; six siblings, Nadine, Thelma, Harvey Jr., Sammie Mae, Glennie, and Arthur.
