Sammie Edwin Williams, 84, resident of Brundidge, AL passed away March 3, 2011 in Phoenix, AZ.

Mr. Williams was retired. He was former vice president of Kentucky Life Insurance Company, Lexington, KY, and a veteran of WW2.

Services will be announced at a later date by Dillards Funeral home, Brundidge, AL.

He was preceded in death by parents Leonard and Jeanette Williams; daughter, Kay Jeanette Williams Krogue; sister, Mary Frances Williams Duenke.

Survivors include wife Patricia Williams; children Sam Edwin Williams Jr. of Phoenix, AZ., Michael Wayne Williams of Greenville, NC.; sisters, Doris Williams Johnson of Carlowille, AL, and Janice Williams Shields of Montgomery; nine grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle.
