Mr. William H. “Bill” Kendrick, age 75, a resident of Orrville, AL passed away on Friday, February 18, 2011 after a brief illness. Memorial services will be held on Friday February 25, 2011 at 11 a.m. from Elkdale Baptist Church with Rev. Charles “Sandy” Simmons officiating. Mr. Kendrick was a member of Orrville United Methodist Church, served as a former assistant county agent for Montgomery County and served as a former Dallas County Commissioner for the Dallas County Government. He was also a Mason, an Elk member and avid cattle farmer, soybean farmer and hunter. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Virginia Kendrick of Orrville, AL son William Lacy Kendrick (Frances Marie) of Valley Grande, AL, sister Jean Kendrick of Selma, AL, brother Allen D. Kendrick (Lynda) of Birmingham, AL, grandsons William Lloyd Kendrick, Thomas Lacy Kendrick, and Walter Harris Kendrick all of Valley Grande, AL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Orrville United Methodist Church, Gideons Internantional or to the charity of your choice. The family will receive friends Friday, February 25, 2011 from 10-11 a.m. at the church.
